Our Team
Nathan Burnside founded Bedrock Compliance & Risk Services to help clients make confident, informed decisions about environmental and operational risk. With more than 25 years of experience as a Professional Geologist and risk management leader, he brings deep technical understanding together with a practical, business-minded approach to solving complex compliance challenges.
Nathan works closely with property owners, developers, insurers, and legal teams to assess, manage, and reduce environmental risks. His expertise covers everything from site assessments and remediation planning to regulatory compliance reviews, contract evaluation, and insurance-related risk analysis. Clients appreciate his ability to translate technical data into clear insights that support smart business decisions.
Before launching Bedrock, Nathan spent two decades in senior positions within environmental consulting, insurance underwriting, and risk management. That experience shaped his philosophy: that effective compliance isn’t just about meeting regulations—it’s about building trust, protecting investments, and supporting long-term success.
Nathan holds a B.S. in Geology from the State University of New York at Fredonia and a Master in the Study of Law (MSL) with a focus in Business Law from the University of Georgia School of Law.
Grounded in science and guided by integrity, Nathan continues to help organizations turn risk into opportunity.
